first was a 90 eclipse non turbo
second was a 91 gmc syclone (still have)
now its a 93 tsi awd

My first car was my dads 83 Chevy Silverado dubbed "the beast". That thing pounded through snowbanks. That was fun to drive sometimes. Brakestands are fun to a highschool kid.
I also had moms 96 Dodge Stratus V6 baby with the option to use the electronic shifting kinda kewl. Transmission went once or twice. Once i was driving on teh freeway and a loose nut blew right threw the pan.
Then i purchased my 86 Toyota Forerunner with the back seat then the truck like bed with roll bar. The kind where the whole top comes off. Ghetto fabulous!!! Five speed though. Paid 250 sold it for 100.
Now my 97 gst spyder. Nice. :dsm:

good thread..

First car was a 93 SHO
2) 89 SHO
3) 76 Buick Riviera w/a 455 posi
4) 89 Honda Accord 2.0 Carb'd
5) 91 Escort GT
6) 90 Plymouth Grand Caravan (FREE)
7) Audi CS 5000 Turbo Quattro (Still Have)
8) 92 Cavalier (FREE)
9) 95 Eclipse GST :)

Not bad for being 18

here are the pimp rides ive been captain of:

85 chrysler new yorker:i loved this thing,it had leather, digital dash and turbo.it rode very nice yet it met its fate when i failed to scrape the old oil filter gasket off the block and it leaked all its oil out.we replaced pistons, rebuilt the turbo and various other things and the thing still smoked like it had a james bond smoke screen maker in it.sold to a junkyard for 35 dollars.it was a fun car as it only liked me and my mother in law to drive it.anyone else who drove it always got the "stall in the intersection"treatment.also the turbo was a joke,it just made noise and made the fuel dot dive towards E.

88 chevy celebrity:i hate this car.it looked like homer simpsons car but in the color gold.met its fate when the oil pump i spent all weekend replacing went out at 80 miles an hour on the way home from work.not pretty.

85 chevy long bed truck:whoever decided to make a full size truck with a 4.3 v6 needs to be smacked up side the head.very slow, but had massive torque.i loved this truck.it was nice n solid, yet it cost 65 dollars a week in gas when gas 1.46 or so .sold when i inherited a

1998 saturn sl2:after the 18 ft long truck this car seemed like a go cart.1.9 or 2.0 dohc engine.i loved this car.it was green with a tan interior.fairly quick and torquey for something with such a grocery getter reputation,it would top out around 125 or so.it met its fate when my wife hit a parked medical waste trailer(i too am still trying to figure this out.the things are 15 foot tall and red)totaled the car even though we were only going like 15 miles an hour.air bags didnt deploy, seat belts didnt hold.i broke my ankle, and my head went through the windsheild.i couldnt walk for 5-6 months and i still have pain in the ankle.ill never own a saturn again.

2 years after the saturn i got my dsm, though it wasnt my first choice.at work i got a bonus of like half my yearly wage(though after taxes it was less than half of a half of what i make)so i was all set to buy a car and was shooting for a nissan 240sx and the day i cashed the check my daughter was admitted to the hosptial for this huge bump on her leg.(later found to be cat scratch fever*insert ted nugent tune here*)and we had to stay at the hospital for like a week.after 2 years of waiting after work for 2 hours a day for the wife to come get me,i was ready for any car to relive me from this hassle. i gave my brother and mother in law the cash with the words"preferbly rwd and stick shift, like a nissan 240sx.and please not a chevy malibu"(my wife, her mom,and her brother all drive late model malibus)a few days later they came back with pictures of a blue 1g eclipse i loved it right off and told them to lay down the cash for it. i look forward to everytime i need to drive somewhere just so i can take it out for a spin.it isnt that fast,it isnt that pretty as it has minor parking lot rash on nearly every body panel.but it has that certain something that i love. :dsm:

88 Jeep Cherokee. Still have it. i hate to say, i went through the rice stage with that, i put blue lights under the dash and blacklights in the back. those arent good in a vehicle that has a back seat that folds flat and reaches very, very remote areas. ;) i also did the coil spacers/blocks/shackles on that, and painted the wheels black. stupidity still present, im saving for a real lift. as many problems as it gives me, i can'I get rid of it. ive had too many good times in that thing. also have a 1965 Plymouth Fury III convertible 383, 4-speed that ive been working on for 4 years (14 when i started. kind of sad that it hasnt seen daylight yet. at least the motor is rebuilt and its in the body shop. in may i bought an 86 honda rebel 250cc, thats pretty fun, except its being stored at the trucking company where i work. its safe though, its in there with a 68 L78 Camaro and a 68 GT500. my boss has some nice cars. now the TSi is getting a new motor since it crankwalked on my way to school one day. most depressing thing ive ever seen- Talon on a rollback.

My first car was a 1996 Plymouth Breeze 2.0 SOHC automatic. when I sold it she had a custom flowmaster exhaust and custom intake with some custom grill mesh, aftermarket fogs and some other dress up stuff under the hood and interior. finally got my parents to let me get a faster car so I bought my broken down talon for $200. I'm currently driving a 1978 plymouth horizon that's actually in perfect condition, it's not a bad beater car for till my talon's finished and when the weather's bad.

86 mazda 323
89 hond civic
