I just had coil overs installed on my 1g, I got new tires and an alignment today. After I got it aligned I noticed that one corner was about half to 3/4 of an inch lower than the other three. To make a long story short, that one lower one is the correct height and the other three are wrong, and I'm pretty sure it was like that before I got it aligned.

So, my question is: if I fix the three incorrect heights, how badly is this going to mess up my alignment, considering that I will be lowering the three less than an inch. The corner that is correct is the passenger side front, the other three are wrong.

Thanks for any help.

If you're using an adjustable ride height loweing spring, with a collar and locking perches then:

The collar on the "coilover" on the corner which is 3/4" too low, might be adjusted incorrectly. Pull of the wheel on that side, and count the number of threads from the bottom of the collar, to the bottom of the locking perch. Write this number down.

Now pull off the wheel on the opposite side of the car (the right or left side), and count the threads on that collar. Now, refer to the number you wrote down. Make sure that those numbers are the same. If they're not, then adjust the locking perches to make the number of exposed threads equal on both the left and right sides.

Suffice it say that I know that the lower corner is the height that I want them all the be.

My question is how much will lowering the other three affect my alignment?

I think I'm just gonna go ahead and lower them and take it back for a realignment in the morning...
