Is there any differences between the two seats? I was talking to a guy who sells the seats and he said that Corbeau been in the market for a long time, and that Sparco is still faily new.

But the way things have been going, Sparco seems the be the seat to get. But are the Sparco seats made that much better to justify the price difference between the two? Are they made of different materials?

Or is it all in the name to appeal to people. Like how Japan only has Toyota, but made the name Lexus to appeal to US?

The sparco's are cooler, but are going to run you $1200. If you can't afford that, just go with Tenzo Rs, they are a good quality seat for a fairly cheap price.

One other thing to take into consideration is that if your waist is over 32-34" MAX then the CR1s are VERY uncomfortable!! they were built for small people... I am not sure about the Sparco seats...

or you can go on ebay and type in sparco and look for 'just like sparco' seats...they'll run you $300.00....for the both of them! :)

Yeah, but those seats suck, and are flimsy, plus you are going to have to pay another $100 to ship them.

so nothing but the best then you suggest? that's like 1K a pop!!! but thank you for addressing the price vs quality

dang....well then i'd rather get a seat cover then...LOL

Not necessarily, I mean, you should do what you want to your car, but at least go with something name brand, Tenzo rs are cool

I admit the Tenzo's are cheaper but I have noticed a lot of fading in those seats. I'm always on ebay looking for cars for sale and I notice every car for sale w/ Tenzo seats are always faded.. just my $.02..I would personally save up and get Recaro's,Sparco's or Corbeau.

icant afford sparcos but the set at speedpeople.com is like 499.99 for 2 with sliders and free shipping its a good deal

no, the only thing I can offer on the Corbeau's is my choice was
Sparcos, Cobras, Corbeau's and Recaros. Cobras finished 1st, then Sparcos, then Recaros, then Corbeau's. Fit and finish on the Corbeau's is not really that good.

I got sparco seats and steering wheel and harness's. I was sold oin sparco after going with them for all my saftey gear for my shifter kart. my seats were about 1100 for both I got the glass ones not the CF ones driver side is a revo and the pass. is a torino all the plates for the sparcos are on backorder so plan on sitting on the seats for a while in the garage unlesss you can do your own fabbing. I got mine trough speedware motorsports in Wa. real good guys up there. the racing seats will fit comfortably anybody that is like 30-36 you can also get a seat a few inches wider if your bigger. I had to get a different Pass. seat because the guy tuning my car is 450 pounds and wont fit in a regular seat.
