well my mods are all in my profile so u can check them out but i just bought some 550's and figured while i was at it might as well get a new fuel rail that looked a little nicer. so i'm just wondering if i wasted money by buying the venom fuel rail or not it definatle has a bigger bore on the inside, i have a 190lph pump 550's 14b 2.5 ic pipe maft blow through, etc etc.
even if i did waste my money it sure as hell looks nice!! LOL

Ryan I'm afraid you did not need the Venom fuel rail as the stocker will support more HP than 90% of us will ever see. We're not to far from each other as i am in Auburn, N.Y., actually between Auburn and Skaneateles. you will want to look into some form of fuel control as 450's are fine for a 14b. I use the GM MAF_Translator as sold by www.fullthrottlespeed.com. I have found it an easy way to tune and if you have a 1G the scanmaster is a great addition. I'm fairly new to DSM's but have spent enough cash te last 6 monts to have learned a bit. Feel free to PM me anytime if you have a question, I'll be glad to help if possible. mark
 
hey i think i've met you, you come down to look at that dsm of mikes? i was the kid w/ the red supra. i have a maft and 550's the 14b i believe will definatly outrun the 450cc injectors. i figured the rail was a waste but just makin sure i guess, but damn thta thing looks nice.

Yeah if we met at the parts store in turboville(ovid) N.Y.!! I followed you to Mikes where the '91 talon was. I bought the car for some cash and parts. I wanted the 6-bolt should I ever build up a motor. You're all set with the MAFT except you really shold look at the scanmaster. It's capable of logging but i just tune with it watching everything "live". If you haven't installed the rail get a refund and apply the cash towards the scanmaster. Anyways check them out. It usually shows 02 voltage and knock. I'll do a run watching for knock and then switch to timing and make sure it stays at 16 degrees or above. It shows fuel trims also along with another couple dozen bits of info. I sold the mas and BOV from the '91 and I'm shipping the tranny out monday.
The ECU is an EPROM version also! Man mike delivered the car to the yard where I'm storing it and i took it for a test ride, NO BRAKES!! The tree slowed me right to a stop!!....LOL! I didn't know you had a DSM or I forgot. Do you have the MAFT installed yet? I run mine as a blow thru in a dejon upper IC pipe but it's pricey at $199. Well keep in touch, like I said I've spent enough to have learned a little..haha The three of us will have to get together in the spring.Mark
