Actually, I dont see why that gutted super light 16g car couldnt beat Ryan. So what, Ryan has a bigger turbo than he does, Ryans car is SLOW for having such a large turbo. The turbo Ryan has came off MY CAR. My car ran 2 seconds faster than his with that turbo, and I had a crappier intercooler and only 2.5 inch exhaust. Bigger turbo doesnt instantly dictate a faster car.
NOW, the other side of the scale. Ryan seems to think a street car shouldnt be able to run slicks. I tend to agree. Even in Ryans crappy state of tune, he could still PROBABLY beat the 16g car IF the 16g is on radials. But, they make DOT legal slicks, and that would swing the race in the 16g cars favor. Hell, a set of drag radials would hand the 16g car the win.
Ryan, the lesson here. While you are gone for the next YEAR, you better figure out how to save a measly 100 bux so you can cut off that cat and get a straight pipe put on. Race gas is your freind.

My mistake on my assumptions. I didnt know it was "on a diet" and that it was FWD.

Did you get an engine in that Galant yet Tim? Galants are cool.

What? You dont know shit about cars - I've offered to help you, and have been nice to you, but you didn't trust me. Sucks for you.

John - I love my RNR exhaust. It's BEAUTIFUL. Takes forever to get to you tho... being they custom make them PER-ORDER. Sounds great too.

Tim- Yes, it is 16g powered but the car weights 2600lbs. He recently ran a VERY impressive time in the 1/4 mile, but I wont say anything because that's his buisiness. I dont think he can beat me on the street. He makes way too much power for his FWD street tires - I dont think he could catch me once he's gotten traction. We're friends though, so I wish him the best of luck. And if anyone beats me, I want it to be him. And yes, I'm not the fastest car in town.. but as far as street DSMs/Imports go, I think I'm up top, unless someone beats me. I know there are atleast two cars out there that have ALOT of potential.

I'd also like to boot that I'm running pump gas, full weight (tire, jack, everything) and catalytic converter ;)

Hmm well I may not know about Tuning...but I know quite a bit...when have you offered to help me? All you have done is talk shit..which is why I wouldn't listen to you. For some reason you think you know everything.

how long does it take from time ordered to delivery???

and 1 more question...were you able to bolt up your o2 housing to the turbo???

I didn't order the turbo back from them, I just have their cat back. I went with the RRE downpipe-high flow car to RNR exhaust. I love the RNR exhaust - alot more than my old APEXi. It's straight as can be. Im sure the RNR turbo back will fit, being they custom make it FOR the DSM. It could take you up to two months to get it in :thumbdown But once you get it, it's worth it.

Josh:

I ran that 13.7 at 15psi of boost. I've since raised the boost pressure a little bit ( ;) ) and with that AFPR, I'm cooking. And with a full weight awd car, running half a tank on PUMP gas, at 4200 feet, I think that's a pretty good time. Anywho, like I said - I dont think justin can catch me on the street. He's making too much whp on that light car to get any traction until 3rd gear.

As you guys know, I'll be leaving for Japan. I've created an email so you guys can contact me if you find any cheap parts in Japan/Ebay/Or that you'd just like me to look for while I'm over there.

Use this email to let me know what you want:

I doubt it. I called him yesterday because I wanted to race last night. He said he'd call me back if he wanted to but he never did. My friends are taking me out for drinks. How about this - If I'm not f*cked up at 11pm, I'll race. I doubt it though... being my last night in the United States...

So race ealier in the night, Jackass.

Good luck over there Ryan, I hope you have a good flight.

I'd chime in but you morons dont seem to listen to me even though I have the fastest car in town.

  :thumbdown my old car could beat you EASILY ryan if the guy could get it to run.

The N1 and RRE are nothing alike. They just meet up, thats all. They're not the same color, diameter, nothing. The RRE piping is much better quality. They're good at what they do for our DSMs.

I said I would go with the RRE/N1 combination. Only thing is the RRE pipe is not full 3" piping. Yes they do good things for our cars.

the apexi is not a full 3 inches either it tapers down to stock size at the cat...

Even after it flares out to "three inch" its's not truely three inches in diameter. With Apexi, your paying for the name.

You're stupid, shut up. It's full 3''.

John: I'd own your old car in a heart beat. My T-28 GST BEAT your car on pump gas with stock fuel support.

Tim: Thanks :)

if youll remember, you were running 19 psi, i was running 12 psi. you had a fmic etc. i had exhaust, fuel pump and the 14b when you beat me. remember when we raced on the freeway and i was running 18 psi? i killed you. you had your bigger turbo blah blah blah and my ugly stock turboed 1g smeared your ass all over the freeway. you can use your race gas excuse but as far as im concerned you dont bring a knife to a gun fight :thumb:

Peregrine, it's not your car anymore so it doesnt matter. There is no point in arguing about it.
