Whats up? Haven't been on in a long time and didn't even know the thread still existed. Does Randy still come on the boards?

not worth it unless the motor is out and your getting the motor built anyway. ive never done it and i was the fastest for awhile. you can go 10s with them in so think that way.

The engine has to come out to get the oil pump off. You also have to press out a bearing further back in the block that the balance shaft rides in. You then put a solid bearing in there. If removing the engine is no hassle to you, then you are good to go.

Like they said, if the motor is out then go for it. I wouldnt want to try and do it with the motor still in.

ok thanks for the info...didnt know how to do it but new it was cheaper then a new belt and tensioner...

hey stock josh check your pm's

True...but at least im buying the parts now....I don't know what im gonna get next week, probably that boost controller and maybe a pulley set.

yeah id get a downpipe...open up your exhast before yo throw more boost in there...youll get better turbo performance with a downpipe too...

Yep thats one of my next mods.......those coilovers that I want went on sale too and I gotta get those new rims put on

Wow accounting is boring and it's starting to get cold again. I was guessing for a light cover of snow at my house when I woke up, but nooo. Let the warmth prevail! Whats the word on Dorain automotive? anyone know if thats a good place to have your car worked on?

Haha... you guys are funny. Pulley sets...
Not seeing how thats funny considering the noise my car is making is b/c of a messed up pulley.....why not just replace all of them at the same time?

is it belts or pulleys???

The material is not stainless steel. Only the flex section is. The appearance comes from their "like chrome coating". What cat-back do you have?

I would go with an o2 eliminator setup or RRE downpipe to apex N1.

Dont waste your time with Pace Setter. Apexi is overpriced. I would recommend RnR racing exhaust (ask Ryan). Good stuff, good price. www.rnrracing.com I believe.

About the pulley set. They arnt a good idea unless your motor is just about perfectly balanced.

The Apexi N1 is coated the same color as the RRE down pipe. The RRE pipe starts 2.5" from the o2 to the flex section. I am not sure on the N1. The GT is stainless steel where the N1 is not.

Yea I heard the Apex one is really good
the rnr one is the one id use...they are on sale now...turbo back like 499 i think...

Edit**

the pacesetter tubular exhaust manifold is a piece...thats the one ack has and he has leaks in the welds...id rather go with the SBR piece...much nicer and reasonably priced...
