Like the title says, what is the greatest love song? I dont know if there is one. There are quite a few that I like. Here are some:

My vote is for "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton. Clapton is a badass!

Another great one is "Romeo and Juliet" by Dire Straights (or Dire Straits maybe...not positive).

That Incubus song is really good, I love the acoustic version of it. Also, Letters to You, by Finch is awesome (acoustic version).

But, I think the best songs are:

Percy Sledge - When a Man Loves a Woman. <--- This wins. Hands down!!
The Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody <--- song from Ghost..duh.
I Wanna Grow Old with You - Adam Sandler, from The Wedding Singer.........haha okay, not really. But just think if you did that for a chick...she'd be yours forever!

Have yo heard the cover by U2 of Unchained Melody??? Its is, in my humble opinion. better than the original. I got it bootlegged of kazaa a while ago. Its soooo good.

I don't think it's the best ever, but 311's cover of that song is fantastic. One of my favorite modern love songs.
