Ok, I've done all of the free mods along with the mod to the BCS. I also have a Autometer boost gauge that is going in this weekend. My question is if I get a 3" turbo-back, am I going to have problems with boost creep? If this is the case, should I wait to put the exhaust on till I get a MBC, which will be about 2 weeks, or can I just put it on and be careful till then? I'm also thinking of porting the O2 housing while I have everything apart, I know performance wise this will help down the road, but will it help or hurt me till I get the MBC? Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

well the big question here is do you have a boost gauge. When you get that autometer in go ahead and install the MBC. Won't hurt if you set it with caution, before you start doing any other modifying of any sort you might wanna get a AF Ratio gauge and an EGT gauge to be on the safe side. Haha just take the signal hose off of the wastegate... j/k don't do that.

Yeah, but will I get boost creep with having the exhaust (3 inch turbo-back with test pipe) and all the free mods and no MBC? I already have a pretty good idea of how to set my MBC once I get it. 4th gear and full throttle should give me a good idea of how high my boost will go unless anyone has a better or more accurate way.

yeah, you put the MBC on and then you drive around and see where your max boost is. then you pull over and correct it. that's pretty much it, pretty simple.
are you worried about price?
or just don't know if you need an MBC at all?

I know that I need an MBC and I'm getting one with my next paycheck from Dejon Tools. I'm more worried about building up too much boost and messing up my motor with only having the stock BCS in there now along with all of the free mods and the turbo-back.

You should port the o2 housing while its out you should also look into porting the turbo housing at the same time. even with a boost con. you will still get creep with a 3" tubo back exhaust, with a race pipe. if you use a cat you may not get it but odds are you will. so i would look into some geting the porting done even before a boost con. if you all ready have the exhaust.

hope this helps matt
