Below is what I have done so far. I am only making 270WHP due to knock as the fuel over here is only 85 - 87 octane. I will dyno with C16 in the near future. I have two questions. Firstly, is 270WHP a true number for what I have or should it be higher or lower? Secondly, what should my next mod be?

INTAKE - GReddy S-Type BOV, K&N Filter, GM MAFT, SBR UICP, SBR 3" intake, 1G Throttle Body, 2G RRE Extrude Honed Intake Manifold, GReddy Big FMIC, NX N-tercooler
EXHAUST - Apexi N1, RRE EVO 3 Downpipe, EVO 3 Exhaust Manifold, EVO 3 O2 Housing
TURBO - SBR GT 12 (GT30) 56 Trim internally Gated, Ported Turbine
ELECTRONICS - 1995 EPROM ECU, DSM Link, GReddy PRofec B, HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer
FUEL - Denso 660 cc injectors, Walbro 255L HP Fuel Pump, B&M FPR,
ENGINE - HKS 264/272 camshafts, AEM cam gears, Unorthodox racing underdrive pulley.
TRANNY - TRE AWD tranny for FWD, GVR-4 1st gear and input shaft, 25% taller 5th gear, ACT 2600 Clutch, XACT AWD Flywheel.
SUSPENSION - TEIN SS, Dual Piston Calipers, AEM Big Brake upgrade.
OTHERS - GReddy Boost / Vacuum Gauge, GReddy EGT

That fuel is your biggest enemy..there's a guy i know on here with similar but a little less mods that dyno'd around 311 (can't recall exact #) with 89. So you definately have more potential that the 270.

As I have DSM Link, I keep the knock below 4 counts due to the shitty fuel. I have heard locally here in the Philippines, they will be selling 100 octane in the near future. What should my next mod be - 6 Bolt, External wastegate, bigger turbo???

If you guys are interested, we here in the Philippines have an Eclipse club which has been going for about 18 months. Check us out at www.eclipseworx.com

:shhh:

How much boost are you running with that setup?

This is your setback. Get yourself some better fuel and you will see ALOT more. I couldn't imagine what that type of octane would yield for most of us. :(

Sorry bout your fuel situation.

let me start by saying you have a VERY impressive mod list. If i were you i would get a Quaife LSD, some light weight and wider rims w/ sticky tires, and prothane motor, transmission, suspension mounts. There is no need for an external wastegate if you are not creeping, your turbo is enough for 400WHP. A 6-bolt would be ideal since the head flows better and less chance of crankwalk :dsm:

I am running about 16PSI boost. I seem to have a problem with the internal wastegate as it doesn't want to hold high boost. It will drop to about 14PSI. The fuel on the pump actually states 96 Octane but it is ROR - Research Octane Rating. The place where I dyno, who also runs race cars locally states the actual level is only 85. Can't help bad luck. Go to get some Avgas or C16.
Thanks Dan

Yeah, a ported-internally gated-56trim should be making alot more than that, but it is the gas holding you down.

Invest in some nice C16.

Thanks for the feedback. So where do I go from here taking into account the fuel problem and that I want to keep my car as a daily drive?

hey how are you running those hks camshafts? are they in the stock position or do you have them advanced or retarded??

where in manila do you live? i lived in the philippines for a little over 2 years and we could get 91 there easily.

if all else fails, you can attempt making your own high octane gas using toluene.
