Hi, i just got this turbo used, it has cracks, but the thing i am asking about is that it appeares to be not centered, wont this leak boost?

If so is there any way i can move it?, would i have to heat it up?,..i just don't know

Thanks
Matt

I've seen that on many older turbos. Heat cycling tends to make the wastegate arm creep out over time. It's easy to fix, all you have to do it tap it back in with a metal hammer.

dude that giant ass crack may cause you some head aches.

wow, that was fast! your welcome!

I wouldn't worry about that crack yet. When the crack gets deep enough to see daylight through, and you have three cracks in the wastegate area, then I'd worry.
