I would, but my cars out of comission. I had to replace valve seals, but I just opted for a whole new valve job and everything. I just got themajority of it back together, but I don't think I'll be done with everything by tuesday. Besides, I'm supposed to be vacationing with my family, but I'm at home trying to fix my car. :thumbdown

What should I buy? I can either go and put a down payment on a crotch rocket or buy a turbo kit. Please help!!!

Turbo kit. That way you don't owe money and you can use it year round.

So where's the meeting spot around milwaukee this weekend? I want to race!!!!! The only thing is I blew my act 2100 clutch, so I have to use a stock one for 2 weeks, you think it will hold up for one days race? I'm pushing around 300+hp

Very valid point but I store my car in the winter and if I did get the turbo kit I still need to get more things to support it. If I bought a bike it would be a used one from the local bike shop. nothing older than a '00 so I really wouldn't be paying off all that much. maybe three grand after my down payment, so that wouldn't really take all that long.

Holly smoke, after checking your mods no wonder why you blew your clutch and why you are "pushing 300 + hp" since you are running "151lbs" of boost. I just dont' know how you didn't blow your motor. Maybe I am just reading your profile wrong. ]

come on up to fond du lac next week just let me know when I'll race ya but I am ony running 10-15 lbs of boost depending on how my boost controler feels

Hey this is tsibred, for some reason I can't get this name to log out but whatever. His stock motor should hold around 425 before it gets cranky and that stock clutch holds surprisingly well. I had the stock clutch and block in my car and saw 21 psi out of a scm60 daily and 25 psi out of it twice. If his car is tuned right it should hold up!

So i have the Apexi' AVCR turbo control, and Im thinking about getting the Apexi' SAFC. Anybody have this on their DSM? If so how did it perform? Was it worth it? Let me know

hey my motor is stock.. i have no internals done to it what so ever.. and i am doing just fine.. i run a constant 19psi with my super 16g.. right now i am at the 370+ hp... nothing has happened to my motor.. its been like that for about 3 years.... although i dont have a stock clutch.. i have the ACT 2600 with a lightened flywheel..

i was referring more towards the fuel system rather than engine internals. internals are good up to ~ 450hp anyways. the internals are strong, but when you start running real lean on a stock fuel system @ 16-19psi, they arent gonna last too much longer. trust me, i found out the hard way :thumbdown
