You cannot install ecuflash or evoscan on a chromebook, it has to be a windows OS. Its a shame because my wifes chromebook its so thin and light, and cheap.

your overthinking it. add a wire to pin 79 of the ecu and put the jack on that wire, plug the jumper from the jack to the tactrix and plug the tactrix into your obd2 port. plug usb cable into tactrix and into your computer.

welcome, i dont know any shops personally around here that do DSM's but all aspects or millenium are pretty good import shops for the area. Most of us local dsm'rs do all our own work.

ECU was toast. i guess it went with the motor. new ecu fixed the problem.but i went through all this bullshit, and only to find the 6 bolt longblock has a blown headgasket and coolant/oil is mixing
