It is a simple mod to have a muffler shop mount a high flow cat where the two pipes meet. I had my local fabricator do this for me. Thermal cat back with the neck down removed, Megan Racing DP with the neck down removed and high flow Magnaflow Cat installed.

I don't know how the second O2 sensor affects mileage but did you do anything funny to it when you installed the exhaust?

Ok so he is not calibrating the MAFT just adjusting the injectors to his setup.

I thought you were not supposed to touch the MAFT settings at all just leave them at zero and adjust link like normal.

Did you check your fuses? Did you by chance unplug the amp?are you sure the volume is turned up :D

Check the coolant for hydrocarbons or better yet when the system is cold remove the cap and start the car then check for bubbles.

That is still 25 to 75 dollars more than the rebuild kit. You will also have to re/detune the car afterwards to get everything running with the new turbo (the new one may also have to be rebuilt)

Yea it is quite odd, it looks like a piston to me.

When you Helicoil you still have to tap the hole.
