Try to recheck for boost leaks by the back of the throttle body or intake manifold maybe? I had one on the back of my throttle body that drove me crazy for days. Boost leaks:notgood:

650's should be enough. Also you can port the exhaust manifold, Turbo, and 02 housing to help. It is cheap, and can easily be done. Plus the tune with DSMlink is really going to matter. Do you plan getting it tuned by someone?

definatly kep looking for a motor, you can find one way ceaper than 2K. and +1 for geting a "junk car" and swappng over and parting out, you can make your money back, and become more familiar with the car.

all great advice as stated above. Only thing I can think to say would be when doing the boost leak test, spray some soapy water on the joint/couplers and if that doesnt work, grab can of starter fluid and spray thaton the joints/couplers and listen for the RPMs to go up.BOOST leaks can be the...
