Maaan, I've got a 98 tsi fwd sitting in the driveway just wasting away. We don't ever drive it. Ever. Runs just fine. Needs a dent fixed in the rear quarter but it's nice. Brand new rims and rubber, too. Lol. Just never compelled to mess with it.
I still happen to have a Talon TSI sitting in my yard, not doing a damn thing, entirely stock. I've considered picking up a project to work on here and there but I can't get my WS6 to leave my wallet alone.
It's a hell of a fight to figure out where your old car is. It took me 5 years to find Wrex, and I just found her this month right here on the forums in a build journal which was pretty awesome. New owner seems to be taking great care of her and repairing whatever the owner it went to after me...
Oh, that reminds me : Check your thermostat. Make sure it's functioning well and not sticking. Perhaps even drop 5*ish if need be so it doesn't hold the "cool" coolant in the radiator quite as long and cycles a tad bit sooner. Don't do a drastic drop by, say, 30* or something.Hope you get it...
