Need to replace the clutch on my 2G, and would love some 2020 recommendations since it seems like most of the info is from the last decade...ROFL Putting down around 300 whp/wtq on RRE's Dynapack and used for time attack/road course plus the drive to/back from the tracks.Have heard that the...
@338vr4 thanks man! Definitely getting there, need to redo the spring rates (for road racing you do not want the front to have almost double the rates of the rear), some aero, and it'll be a beast! Should give the Evos a run for their money :)

Just did a full day at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana in 110F weather...I'm DEFINITELY keeping the HVAC haha. Car ran great (keeping it 2 hot laps in a row or less), finally have some 255 tires!Compression is now 115 tho...at least it's consistent across the board LOL?Click & follow for more...
Unfortunately in my TA class I need to run full interior, OEM glass, A/C, heater, and body-wise can only change the hood/trunk to non-OEM. Any other big ones? :)
@tsiboosted not at all! You provided some great data. I'm assuming you're not running full interior? Do you have a post/thread that details all your weight reduction? I sure wouldn't mind lightening the car up :)
@T2Small amazing data, that's exactly what I'm looking for! :) Half mile oval with 90-10 entry is RIDICULOUSLY hard on brakes haha. Most of the SoCal tracks are about 1.5-2.5 miles with at least a front straight. I'd suggest also trying the Project Mu G-four brake fluid, it's got some of the...
@2gmitsueclipse that's great to hear, which Carbotechs are you running? How much would you say is left? Outlander upgrade is just the OEM bracket and bigger rotors right? Is there a noticeable change in brake bias?I'm running the Achilles A123S, they're <1 sec off from RS3's but MUCH...

Thanks for the detailed input @2gmitsueclipse! Funny you mention the ducting, I ran that on my Evo X. Ran the 3500 lb+ Evo X for a full season, and didn't have any issues with the Brembos btw.My overall question is whether I should try stock calipers + aggressive track pads, or just once &...
Thanks @99ECLIPSEGSXDSM! Currently running 17x7.5 Kosei K-1's but thinking about a 8.5 or 9" wheel.@2gmitsueclipseThe way @RedlineTimeAttack is setup is you have 2 TA sessions of 5 laps clean laps each, as cars are sent out by lap times. The rest of the day is setup like normal HPDE (~20...
Thanks Eddie and likewise! Now I'm figuring out my brake setup...will track pads be enough for time attack w/the 2g AWD calipers or should I go Evo Brembo's?
