That's not entirely accurate. We ran into a significant issue late last week that required us to halt sales as we worked through those issues. We weren't sure what was possible yet or what direction we wanted to take. All we knew was that we were suddenly stopped in our tracks and had to...
Yes, we discontinued v3lite a few years ago when the flash chips we use to build our modules were no longer available even on the gray aftermarket.... Given a fixed supply of flash modules, it made it impossible to keep offering discounted packages. We would just end up running out of chips...
E-mail received. I'm back up to 39. :)Actually, now that I have your e-mail address I can see what happened and, in fact, your original attempt to contact us was from a yahoo.com e-mail address and it did get caught up in this 550-5.7.1 DMARC policy thing. Ugh. And looking back now I see...
Thanks Chump-a-lumpa-umpa-whatcha.Yes, we are most certainly still in business. In fact, we're some how busier this year than the last two years! I'm easily answering 30-40 e-mails a day and from the sounds of this thread, there are still some I'm not even getting! Ugh. There's no way I...
It's simply a difference in the specific drive transistor used in the EVO8 ECU vs. the DSM ECU. There is no risk running an EVO8 injector with a DSM ECU. You simply need to use dead time values measured with a DSM ECU driver.
Must...post...log. :) Sorry, but like a few before have said, a log of the problem is a must. I kid you not when I say people can get 50 times more information from a 10-second log showing the problem than anyone could possibly type up trying to describe it. Sometimes you don't even know...
Yes, most definitely. And to clarify, only the laptop application is freely downloadable off our website. The software inside the ECU is certainly not.Thomas Dorris

That's pretty unusual. I reply to just about every e-mail we get, so unless it got lost in the shuffle to or from us, you should have gotten a reply.Regardless, we're certainly still kicking.Thomas Dorris

You'll need to post a log and let's see how you've got it all configured. You can also try logging various WGS parameters in the ECU to make sure it's doing what you're expecting.Thomas Dorris

Unfortunately, I don't think it will. The fact that the check engine light is staying lit and the boost doesn't move at all is a clear sign that the ECU is not running. If the ECU isn't running, then it's not sending out codes on the diagnostic pin and it's not going to communicate with the...
I know this thread is a bit dated, but for the archives I wanted to mention a couple things that weren't brought up before.First, we do have a page on running ECMLink in a 98/99 DSM along with a complete explanation of the issues and options.Use ECMLink in a 98/99 DSMSecond, we can also...
You have your clutch cut wire connected to the ECU but you haven't told the ECU. I can see this by looking at the A/T D Pin log parameter. Our install instructions include the following statement:With the clutchcut adapter installed, if clutch-cut operation is not desired, it should be...
Some results for these EVO8 injectors. First, a huge THANKS to MJcanada! You may not appreciate how difficult it is to get people to follow through on offers to send stuff in sometimes. So when someone does, it deserves a special mention. He sent two complete sets of EVO8/9 injectors. So I...
I think I understand what you're saying. And, yeah, if you want, that would be even better.Yeah, sorta. It's not listed on our website because I was never SURE it was making a difference. For some people, it seemed to help a lot knowing the individual deadtime values for each injector...
