Longshot but here it goes:
Driver and passenger side fender well splash guards.I actually want to use my car on the street once it's put together, up and running.
I'd have to look at the stamping molded onto the tool...not sure what it says. I never reached the point of mating the trans to the engine - wasn't happy with the clutch disk position with relation to the ACT flywheel. I know it's only 2-3(mm) off center but I'm not satisfied with it being...
I've checked your site and understand what you're talking about. I'll double-check the brake line configuration on the Laser (it's 23 miles at a friend's work shop). I'd really like just the front lines if possible, but we'll see what happens. Since you helped me out, I'll end up buying more...
Using the supplied ACT alignment tool. The clutch disk fits fine on the spline shaft, but when inserting it into the flywheel pilot hole (ACT flywheel), you can still wiggle it around a little. I bolted it up 3 times before I threw in the towel...and also one of the new OEM lock washers broke...
So, to help me out and to possibly irritate you a little:Will swapping my 1G inverted flare brake lines for the 2G banjo-eye bolt style brake lines allow me to bolt up the Outlander calipers? I can infer a "YES" from your quote, but need to be sure before spending more $$ on parts and...
I'm bringing this up in the interest of not starting another thread.
I'm getting ready to install my freshly built Jack's Transmission with an ACT(2100) and 6-puck. The alignment tool fits in the pilot hole of the crankshaft, but still allows several millimeters of slop when trying to precisely...
Thanks for the links on the two tuner shops in Everett. They may be able to help me with my 92 Laser whenever (long time from now) I can get it back together, configured how I want it, and on the road. The information you've provided is GOLD!I just got my ETS 3.5" street core today; 25% off...
I used a starter off my old 4G37 on my 6-bolt. It eventually popped the fusible link and emitted a puff of smoke from under the hood. It worked fine for about 3 years that way.
Can I use 2G front brake lines with my 1G to install the Outlander front brakes? I'm "gathering" parts to build my 92 Laser AWD once I finish the re-wiring, get the trans back on, and some more basic maintenance.
If you've seen the dyno results of the FP manifold vs their DSM replacement manifold (and cost is of minimal concern), it's a no-brainer of a decision...and it LOOKS way better.
It's good that the pump actually operates without burning your car to the ground. The area in the back could use a vacuum and some cable management. Somebody mentioned they saw no mention of an FPR in your setup. If you're running a Walbro 255, you need an adjustable FRP or the car will run...
I searched this forum because I plan to use an "ACT 2100" plate with the 6-puck sprung disc, and an extended slave cylinder rod I bought back in 2005. It worked with pedal engagement near the top of travel on a FWD with an ACT 2100 from 2004.
