Thanks, that's good news. Mr. Boxx you got better fuel mileage with cams, thats really awesome. If I get better mileage with the 264s, I'll be a very, very happy camper. I have a set of 264/264s and a set of 264/272s, which ones would you put in?
OK, I did have a small boost leak and my throddle cable was too tight. I fixed both problems but the high idle did not change. It must be the O2 sensor.
Well, I replaced the throddle body with a rebuilt unit with new sensors. The problem is still there. I checked the O2 sensor and it seems OK. What else can I check?
When the idle is set right for start up it then goes to 2000 after it warms up. When I reset it for normal operating temp and then start it the next day it doesn't want to idle unless I hold down the thottle a little. What should I check or replace first?Thanks, Brent W.
The best mpg for my car was 24. E85 is an hour away but AV gas is available in town. I agree that the ever so worthless dollar is most of the problem however it also seems that the more oil producing countrys the US controls the higher the price of fuel goes.
