i dont really want to tap the intake cam but if i have to i will... is there any ways that i can simply splice the wires for the stock cas and wire in the 1g cas?

have a set of 1g cams in my 2g head. they are super clean and the 2g cams arent. the 2g cam has the cas built into the intake cam. how would i go about swapping it over to a 1g cas?

you are correct. but i had that same problem turns out the block i purchased was bored .20 over and the turbo was actually good :O

i am about to install the motor in my 97 gst, the crank was from a manual and iv been reading that there is some sort of bushing that goes in the end of the crankshaft that was only in the automatics... do i need this? if so where can i purchase one i dont have it oh and how does the flex plate...

what about the intake manifold and the camshafts? wuld the wiring harnees hook up to a 1g intake manifold and cam position sensor?

the internals on the head all look brand new as well as the valves?

so i sfinished my build. have all the correct gaskets and seals on everything but when i start it white smoke starts puring out so i figure turbo is bad because the turbo housing was full of oil. so i put on a small 16g that i bought from a guy. still smokes but not as bad and there is oil...

so i am wanting to up my horsepower and performance but dont really want to get into buying forged internals but i want to get around 300hp? maybe 350. i would like to know what i should buy in order for this build to be possible! ### help :)

putnam raceway its for track racing not dragging so i wont be doing a strip lol but i will be getting up to high speeds and pushing my car really hard
