  1. Stock springs with Koni's lower perch?

Just got the driver side rear off. Complete failure. I do see some possible binding on the rod. I'll post pics later. I'm trying to find out if I need a cup since it looks like he person who install them didn't reuse it... it went from top down, nut, nut, washing thing, poly bushing, bushing...
  2. Stock springs with Koni's lower perch?

Just read that poly bushings in the rear of a 2g can cause binding. Probably what happened to me. I may replace with some bushings from autozone...
  3. Stock springs with Koni's lower perch?

    179. Car is acting up again, hope to install this weekend. Seems like when it gets below freezing the shocks bottom out. Almost like the springs sag when it's cold...? I think I'll reuse the rsr spring but install them on the higher perch. When spring/summer comes, I'll bumps the front up to...
  4. Stock springs with Koni's lower perch?

So I got new Koni Yellow's to replace my current rear pair of Yellow's. I have always had camber issues even with camber kits due to rust, stock bolts, etc so I would like to raise the car a little more. I was wondering if I use stock springs instead of my RSR's is I could get a little higher...
  5. Goin with Koni again, any opinion why the first pair failed?

Just ordered a couple Koni shocks to the replace the existing, now that I think about it, I ordered upgraded bushing too, I wonder if the harder bushing material might have lead to a earlier failure. I think I'll order new OEM bushing for the rear this time.
  6. Goin with Koni again, any opinion why the first pair failed?

There is oil, I've seen oil for years on them tho. Isn't it normal for koni's to leak oil some what? Not sure on the bump stops, I'll check tomorrow since I'll have time to take the wheels off.
  7. Goin with Koni again, any opinion why the first pair failed?

I have 99 GST. I had a shop install RSR down springs and Koni yellow all the way around and then had the car aligned. A year or so after I had cuppin in the rear. Replaced the toes arms. Got the car aligned again. Few years later I think both are on the way out since it got cold out. I guess I...
  8. Broken driver seat, pics inside

I just finished, it's not the best by far, but atleast it spans the whole length. I think they should have had one more tack from the factory...
  9. Broken driver seat, pics inside

The seat frame broke from the adjuster. Think this is repairable? Just bought a stick welder for $100.
  10. Need to replace rear shocks, replace mount at same time?

Not sure if I want to have them machined. I don't know anyone to perform the process. I wonder if I install the new shocks with the stock springs if it will be lower then stock spring with stock struts? I might just get new shocks for the front too and use factory OEM springs...?
  11. Need to replace rear shocks, replace mount at same time?

Yes, I read about it some where but I had a shop do the install. I would like my car a bit higher so I wonder if the used the lower snap ring... Do you know if the fronts and rear have multiple locations?
  12. Need to replace rear shocks, replace mount at same time?

Ya, I keep changing. Is it true that the Koni shocks have a couple lower seat options?
  13. Need to replace rear shocks, replace mount at same time?

Dang, I'll probably go with the AGX's and get their whole bearing kit too. :rocks:
  14. Need to replace rear shocks, replace mount at same time?

I want to get another set of Koni Yellow, but should I replace the mount and bushings too? Car has about 190,000 miles.http://www.summitracing.com/parts/kyb-sm5091/overview/model/eclipse
  15. Leather Driver Seat Won't stay upright

I have black leather seats in my 99 GST. I was pushing back and something gave and now the seat won't stay up right. Anyone fix this before or know if it's able to be serviced? I tried pushing it all the way forward then back but it don't stay up right and leans back towards the rear seats...
