HeheheReminds me of a story my dad told me. A guy called into a car radio talk show and said he figured out how to get more oil out of the car when he changes it by turning it on. Got a few more pints out that way he said.
The pressure in a radiator only goes as high as the radiator pressure cap. Which I think is about 13 psi (correct me if I'm wrong) So I don't think they would design them to hold much more then that. Besides the whole flow issue.
My car did the same thing a few days ago. It would misfire at idle but would be fine at partial throtle. When I floored it it would pull hard until high boost and then sputter and loose power. I changed the spark plugs and it didn't help but when I changed the wires it ran like a dream again...
I have a friend who used to have a small truck(I can't remember the kind) with a 302 in it that was slightly modded. Well he is out cruising and he pulls up next to a geo metro at a stop light. He is messing around with it revving the engine a little. The geo doesn't do anything until the...
Ok. last night on my way home from the movies I floor through first and it runs great. I shift then floor it again and when it hits about ten psi it hits a wall. It feels like it is misfiring really bad and the boost won't raise anymore and it won't accellerate. I get off it realy quick and...
I changed my mind when i found out you can get mandrel bent tubing and a flex section on ebay for 10 bucks a piece. Is it a no no to weld your downpipe to your o2 housing?
Well I got my cat-back exhaust for free but the problem was it was a press bent. since it is an awd there isn't too many bends. It is better than stock right? I some day will get an o2 dump so that should make up for the restiction right? Thanks.
