Well that number didn't work. I can't believe it's this hard to source and locate a damn OEM brake master cylinder. I don't want to go aftermarket because OEMs last forever if taken care of. Anyone want to throw me a bone as to where I can buy a brand new OEM unit?I found some shifty looking...
Well it looks like all these master cylinders are all interchangeable but the difference in prices makes me confused as to the actual differences. I'll likely end up ordering #4 in the list above. I'll report back if it works. I promise! There's too much information on this site without resolutions.
I did a search but couldn't find the information I need. My master cylinder is toast in my 92 TSi AWD and I need to find a replacement.Mitsu ASA shows a few different options for my model car. I'm assuming I will need to order #3 or #4 but am unsure as to the difference. Again, I'm assuming...
I like to follow up my threads with results. There's too much information that dies without any follow-up on this site. I went with the home made option. Thanks wrencher.
Ok. So here's the deal. I have an old fuel sending unit that I will be adding a bulk fitting to to supply more fuel but my electrical connections are kinda looking ratty. I'd like to upgrade them. I just don't know where I can find an electrical stud that will insulate itself from the metal...
I'll keep this short and sweet. The center diff has nothing to do with the front diff. The front diff mediates power between the two front tires. The center diff mediates power to the back wheels in an AWD car.Your car is FWD so by welding the center diff, you're locking it together so that...
The reason most of us hate on this type of botchery is because you took a car that had class, sporty lines, great curves & modern car appeal and turned it into a car with no lines or curve flow that doesn't have an ounce of class left in it. You definitely made it ugly. How anyone on Earth could...
I run the stock HX-35 turbine housing for a Dodge Ram. It's kinda laggy. I've posted up dsmlink logs in the past so I'm sure a few holset guys would know better. I don't notice the lag much as it's not that important in the 1/4 mile and I CAN'T open it up on the street anyway.
Granted it's been a while since I've done a stock rebuild, I've always had to cut OEM piston rings. Sometimes I get lucky and don't have to cut much if any at all but more times then not, I cut them. Factory numbers are in the FSM or even a Haynes manual.
If you plan on modifying a harness, you better know what to take out and what not too. What I mean by this is that if you have enough confidence to modify a harness, you shouldn't have to ask anyone what can and can't be removed.
