I have a few thousand miles on my pulsar gtx3584rs and it’s working great. I know another guy running the same turbo seeing close to 70 lbs/min at 38psi. Spool is kinda slow, but I have a top mount manifold and conservative timing.
Still running great. I've never really been able to crank it up past 32psi due to a fuel restriction. I'm either outflowing my 535 pump, stock feed lines, or 1800low z injectors. It's flowing about 56lbs/min at 7200rpm at 32psi. It's quick, but I'm only scratching the surface of its efficiency...
I’m having exactly the same issue. Shift cables are working fine. Brand new southbend clutch, tob, pressure plate and flywheel. Shifts normally except when drag racing 2nd and 4th act like neutrals.
Nardo plastidip for now. It actually held up great for 15k miles until one of my oil cooler lines failed, dumping all my oil. Nothing spun, but there was bearing material in the oil so I threw in a fresh motor. Hopefully I'll get some quarter mile numbers soon. Link estimates 440 and I'm...
I just ordered the pulsar 3584 and I'm mating it to a morrison vband large runner. Replacing my hx35/bep/fprace. I figured I'd give it a go for $750 and if it blows, I'll slap a xona on. I'll let you know what it flows, hp numbers, and how long it lasts.
10 years later here we are! The problem is you can't attach the rod when the handle is outside of the car because the rod won't travel far enough down to get the handle back into place. Almost impossible.. UNLESS!! Take out the three torque screws and 2 10mm phillips screws from the side of the...
I know this is a million years later, but did you find out the answer? I blew an oil cooler line today and have to drive it for a little while before I can take the front end apart to fix it. Intuition is telling me it's ok to just tread 16mmx1.5 drain plugs in and drive it around.
