    1st and second gear you have to go aftermarket. you will have to buy a full synchro kit and i recommend replacing all of them becuase you will be getting Brass stop rings. At that point you will be running gear lube...no more ATF4 since it will no longer work well enough.3-5 are available...

    With 14lbs on the turbo you have......you ###### in the range of 280whp depending on the tune. With a poor tune it can be lower.14PSi you can use the factory timing map and that will help you. If 400Wheel is your goal....you want to set your aim for 22+ psi. Just food for thought.

    Your referring to the Fork pads......I didnt consider those to be bushings. I still think round bearing like thing when i hear bushing. The fork pads hold up fine mark. I have pulled apart Transmissions with over 100k and the pads look like new.You need to replace the entire shift fork...

    You guys have your upstream and downstream backwards.Upstream is always towards the source. Your fuel pump is upstream from your inline fuel filter. The fuel filter is downstream from the fuel pump.

    The differentials are not weak. I dont understadn why people make statements saying our transmissions are weak. The only issue with our Diff is that is an open diff. LSD is better for traction. Thats all, period, finite.Get whatever year you want, as long as the trans is in good shape...

    Tapping it out like post above is my first suggestion. If that doesnt work. Buy a cheap dent puller. The slide hammer type. Have someone weld the dent puller to the end of the extension and slide hammer it out. It will come out and you might find the threads are not damaged.Terry

    The stop ring and the cone is all thats left out. The rest of the synchro assy (ie the slider and inner gear ect) is part of your 5th gear. Instead they leave out the stop ring and install a plastic spacer and a retaining band that clips into the inner gear that sits stationary on the shaft.
