O I forgot to post back. I ended up finding one at a dismantling place in CA. It should be shipped soon. It's been 5 weeks now with all the "phych outs" I had of places saying they could get one, then saying they actually cant a week later. Damn Mitsubishi discontinuing the part.

As far as I've seen, all dsms gas gauges suck. I've never had one work right. Mine runs down accurately, but then from 1/4 to 0 it drops really fast. Then I found out I usually have about 5 gallons left when I hit the E mark. They're all different and messed up in their own special way.
