for now, im just building the motor to be tougher.. tough enough to beat on daily.. until the day i can afford the new turbo and all that fun stuff. after my engine is rebuilt, i plan on starting work on my trans, suspension and elimination all the little rust spots before they get worse.
good point. though my ultimate goal for the car is to build a dd/road racer, my plans have to go on hold. so for the time being, im building the motor to just be tougher and able to handle higher horsepower when time and money permits. i would love to just get rid of this car and buy another...
you're absolutely right.. and i did think of doing that. its going to cost somewhere around $2,500. im putting all this work into my car due to just needing transportation and through all of this i've grown attached to this car. after rebuilding my engine i have to really focus on the body rust...
so im just going to end up with a really expensive stock rebuild with no gain whatsoever ?
what build path would you advise?... worth while mods and in what order?

Not to thread jack, but, is the evo3 turbo a t3 flange? my engine is being rebuilt.. slowly but surely. when going for that turbo, 560cc injectors, fmic, walbro 255, ECM Link and exhaust/turbo manifold, what brands would you recommend and is that all i need?
