Sorry etay, here is the car as of last summer.... I garaged it and put it up for sale in the middle of winter, and someone traded me an s14 for it... days later the guy calls me and says he messed up the transmission, it went up for sale again super cheap, weeks later it shows up in Columbus...
Im only about 60 miles from you that's kind of scary stuff is happening to DSMs so close to me if it was a honda Id expect it but not a DSM good luck I hope they recover it.
It belongs to me now, I've had it for about a year and a half or more, completed the awd 5spd swap this summer
Ill make a thread about the swap sometime when I have time, the paints holding up well a few flakes on bumper but oh well.
How is customizing your car on your own ricer? I've cut sections out of shift levers and welded the threaded section back on to make the stock height shorter, I'd say go for it.
Last year on the way home from the shootout I saw the aftermath of a motorcycle accident and the guy didn't have a helmet on.... as I was driving by the first paramedic to arive was rolling the guy over who was laying face down and I saw everything........ it makes me sick just thinking about...
I had a similar issue with my 2g. I broke a half inch craftsman breaker bar in the process. I ended up getting a chizzle and a hammer and found a flat spot on the wall of the axle nut and repeatedly hit it untill it split then it came right out no problem.
The 98 motor should have a cam angle sensor on the left of the intake cam, you'll have to swap the intake cam because your 95 cam wont have a hole threaded for the sensor. Other then that it should be all the same.
I get this all the time, during the 2010 shootout it earned the name shiney primer after about 50 people came up to me and asked what color it was. It really does look like they shot grey primer on it and covered it with clearcoat. I was also told audi had a very similar color but I'm not sure...
