https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/1g-basic-ecu-mpi-circuit-function.435961/Those are the pins the ECU uses to activate the power side of the 1G MPI relay.
Have you looked at the Factory Service Manuals yet? The wiring in the electrical manual.
https://www.dsmtuners.com/forum/articles-manuals-documents.262/You might find other information in either the Electrical & Wiring or Tuning & ECU tech...
Google is great for finding things. These took me seconds to find.https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/2g-turbo-speed-sensor-location.189083/

2G's use a electronic speedometer when the sensor in the transmission creates pulses in the signal wire from the cluster and the other computers read them. The sensors have been known to loose their gears so you start at the trans and then work...
Just an update if anyone happens across this thread later.Resolution: two issues found that were messing with the connection. The first, pin 56 at the ecu somehow had shifted back in the plug, and was making an intermittent connection. Second...
For now enable simulate Idle switch from TPS on the RPM/TPS tab and cap the two ports on the tops of the TB. The BOV should be recirculated to a port on the pipe betweeen thee MAF and turbo inlet but since your MAF is changed I have no idea if...
If your AFR at idle is 16:1 I don't know how it would smell rich, that's pretty lean.
As we tell everyone who has a ECMLink issue, please post a log of it idling to start with.
Alright so I went and decided to go for it and replace it since it was gonna bother me if I didn't and I was thankfully able to take out the 2 bolts holding the fuse box and turn it around enough to click the 2 tabs holding in the etac without...
All new DSM owners benefit from reading the 1G Technical Manual and getting a copy of the Factory Service Manuals for their year car. The aftermarket manuals are not a substitute but a supplement...
The bolt pattern for both the 1g and 2g intakes are the same. When speaking of 6 bolt and 7 bolt intakes, that is kind of vague. The 1g 7 bolt intake is identical to the 1g 6 bolt. The 2g 7 bolt was different. If you are staying n/a, the...
Just get an Evo2/3/RVR intake manifold if you want to upgrade over the stock 2g, it's more than you need and honestly I don't think you'd see any difference at that power level. A boost controller and wideband will get you in that power level...
Gotcha. I have a spare harness, Ill cut a lead off with pin and pop that back in for testing. If it is not connected and goes high, then I know that is good and it lies in the wiring from pin 56 to the diag port/other connections the diagram shows?
I've had to replace capacitors in the 3S ETACS that are of like vintage so it wouldn't surprise me to see issues with the 2G DSM ones.Section 4 (Body) of the 2G Technical Manual talks about the power locks and windows. and section 7 (Equipment)...
Yea sorry that was a mistake on my end xD
I meant that I will replace them not that I already have replaced them. I was tired when I was writing the quoted post above :)The high idle fixed itself when I replaced the injectors for the original...
