This is what leads me to think that he would be thinninng out his oil .....black smoke at idle is not good.

You will be washing your oil down with gas and thinning it out .... you will need to do an oil change ASAP when you get this fixed.

My friend uses the 4.3 with a 6 puck sprung hub on a Fidanza flywheel.....lighter clutch pedal feel than a 2600 ACT and seems to hold all the power his stroker can make......35 psi+ on an FP HTA 3582.

That's a cool way to do it. I have all three on with parking lights, the outside bulb is the turn signal and the two inside are brake lights.
