I machined a bep housing to accept a hx50 about 9 years ago. Only downside was that the turbo didnt like all the back pressure produced in the housing. This was a bolt on .55 housing. It constantly snapped the shaft after a months use. I tried it with 3 different hx50's.

Autozone commercial here. We use Autolite filters for commercial. They are made by fram. Honestly though, these commercial filters sell for dirt cheap.

I know for a fact that some sensors autozone carries are actual OEM parts. I have seen sensors come out of Duralast boxes still in OEM packaging.

Those imperfections/damage on the bowl of the head will not help with detonation. If that can be fixed then go for it. I dont see why it wouldnt be usable.

Alot of exhaust systems had resonators built into then where it is NOT removable. So make sure whatever your reading/researching on is what you want.

Why not just buy a resonator and flange the ends??
