My alternator stopped working the other day so i replaced it but the car wouldn't idle for longer then 5 minutes so i brought the battrey to orileys and they charged it overnight. After reinstalling the battery the car now has idle surge between 1000 to 1500 rpm. Any idea what could of caused...

Turns out it wasn't tight enough, i had to use an impact to Tighten it more because the socket didnt have enough leverage

I recently replaced my alternator and belt and now on start up the belt squeaks for about a minute or so, also the coolant light comes on from time to time i just had my water pump replaced when i did the timing so im hoping its not that. Any other ideas on what it could be?

I just recently took the car to them and got my timing, waterpump, and a bunch of seals replaced (see pic below) im planning to install all the parts i want before a tune. I'll be able to check the sensor in about an hour. correct me if I'm wrong but what probably happened is the silicone goo has melted/gone bad, so the microphone (knock sensor) is picking up other noise and reporting it as knock so the ecu then pulls timing. also, kind of a dumb question, where...

funny enough I had just finished fighting a stuck fill bolt, come to find out the drain bolt is also stuck. the bolts came off surprisingly easy on the diff and transfer case but idk why the diff bolts are so dam harmMD728088 is this something i could buy/use a universal bolt from Oriley's?

I Stripped the drain plug to my transmission like an idiot. Any ideas on how to get it out?
