The MAF was in there just to limp the car to a local car show before I got it tuned on speed density. The chassis stiffness between the two cars is drastic. Like I said, it's immediately apparent that one car is a Chrysler product, and one car is a proven race car product. I have the luxury of...
I really appreciate the invite! I've never made it out to VIR, but maybe this is the excuse I need to make the trip! I'll let you know if I decide to come down there. Also forgot to mention, I have a set of Compworks fender braces that I haven't installed. Do these offer an improvement in any...
My apologies. My wheel and tire combo isn't what it should be if I'm after sharp handling. I'm running 18x9.5 Vordoven Forme 9's with 255/35/18 Continental Extreme Contact DW tires. I'm sure I should be running a meaty tire on a 17 inch wheel, but damn the 18's look good. I know that I can't...
I fear this thread will come off as a "Just bought a stock dsm, ordered a chinese gt35r turbo kit from ebay, want to be fast" type of threads, but I assure you, that is not my intention.I own a 1999 GSX that I bought absolutely bone stock about 5 years ago. It's gone through several phases...
My bad, I should have been more clear. I know the correct firing order, but I don't know which coil is which. I removed the coils from the bracket, modified the bracket, and waited about a month before reinstalling the coils onto the bracket. Since the coils have no markings to identify which...
Long story short, I relocated my coil packs. It took me a while to complete the project, so when I removed the coils from the bracket I lost track of which one went where. I now need to know how to identify which coil pack operates cylinders 1 and 4, and which one operates cylinders 2 and 3...
I recently restored my 99' engine bay. All new gaskets on my stock 7 bolt long block. As soon as I got it running, I noticed an oil leak on the timing side. After removing the timing covers, the oil pump sprocket nut fell on the floor. The sprocket is still on the pump, but just barely. Talk...
Well, PTE confirmed that I have an oddball injector. They didn't seem to have any comment on why all of them are engraved "950", but they did confirm that one of them is actually a 750cc. So I guess I'll be looking for a new set of injectors and report back.
I've been running them for probably 2 years now, and I'm just now noticing the different numbers. They all have "950" engraved on them though, so I'm going to call PTE and see what they say.
17113744 8305
17113744 E029
17113742 0045
17113744 E029Those are the numbers printed on the injectors. Also, I believe the reset all button only resets the settings that were there when the tune is first loaded up. It doesn't actually reset them to OEM values.
You're awesome guys, I really appreciate the help! Also, on the individual deadlines, I noticed one of my injectors has a different serial number than the others. I google d the serial numbers and the odd injector comes up as a 750cc injector, while the others come up as 1000cc injectors...
I got the stock o2 sensor to cycle. I had narrowband sim enabled, but didn't realize that I had to assign a wideband pin before I could disable narrowband sim. Dave on the ECMlink forums helped me out there. But even though the front o2 voltage moves now, it doesn't fluctuate like it's supposed...
Here is a (very long, sorry) updated log.Several things I noticed:1. Front O2 still isn't cycling, and not a single one of the fuel trims moved for over 17 minutes. They're all at 0%.2. The idle slowly rises. It starts off at 650ish, and by the end of the log it's almost at 1,200.But I...
Alright, I'm at the car now. As soon as I plugged my laptop in, I checked both my firmware version and my ECMlink software version.Firmware version: 3.28.119
Software version: 3.29.64I'm going to attempt the other suggestions now.
