IMO, it really doesn't matter Bosch or Denso if it works as it should. In North America, many people use Bosch. but in Japan Bosch is kinda minor, mostly use Denso since Denso is the OEM supplier for many car companies. But personally I would go... See more

Sjd6795 liked ThunderChild's post in the thread 2G What pistons/rods should I get?.

You could use stock style pistons for that goal if you wanted, but there's no reason not to go forged if you plan to up the power in the future, plus it's an extra safety margin. Manley makes good rods/pistons, eagle/wisecos is a proven combo,... See more

Good call on afpr @Sjd6795! It will be fine with 550's, but I was low 90% IDC so it wouldn't be a bad idea to just go with 660's since the e16g will flow a little more. See more

550cc should easily hit 300whp.. My car still has 450cc on a small 16g and the car is much faster then my 2004 STI that put down 276whp. Also with that 255 pump you need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. See more

Sjd6795 attached a file to the thread ECUflash Injector latency values.

Warm up idle and cruise home, most of the time I was cruising around 2-2.5k RPM in 4th and 5th gear. I did do a couple harder accelerations. Cold start my AFR was between 14.8-15.2 after the car warmed up it still stayed at that. I drove out of... See more

With flash you will use MAF smoothing to dial in your air fuel calibration Works basically like any AFC, you alter reported airflow from the MAF and the ecu will do the calculations to apply the correct fueling for the reported airflow In... See more

Seems to be a little richer. I dont have a way to log my wideband but based on looking at it and comparing to the afrmap its richer at cruising rpm. It's also a custom big map that English racing tuned when the previous owner had the car. I've... See more

Sjd6795 liked delta448's post in the thread ECUflash Injector latency values.

The MAF smoothing table is to correct airflow measurement errors made by the sensor. Like if you have a slightly troublesome spot where the engine goes lean momentarily every time you cross that one certain MAF frequency. What you're doing by... See more

Let me try a different way. (not counting posting overlap) As others have stated the injector latency is "deadtime" the amount of time spent waiting for the injector to start spraying fuel after it gets a signal to do so, minus the time it takes... See more

So my idle and WOT are almost perfect. Cruising is the one that is way to rich. On ceddy website for injector tuning it says that maf smoothing is to tune cruising afr. See more
