alright well I got the bolts starting to come out but it looks like the bolts are hitting the cam gear so do I have to take the cam gear off or will it com off if I still keep turning it.

okay thanks I just never have replaced on on a 2g I just don't want to mess anything up. Is there any adjustment or does the cam gear have to be in a certain position.

yeah that is sorry to hear man. My car messed up today anyways so no biggie. My cam angle sensor broke on me so I will have to change that.

what size are the bolts, and how hard is it to change out.

Anybody here ever replace a cam angle sensor on a 2g Eclipse. It is the one that is on the intake cam gear. I just want to know if I have to take the cam gear off or is there a way to replace it with out taking the cam gear off.

I was thinking syracuse since it kind of central for everybody, But I don't know any good locations for everybody to meet and was thinking maybe this weekend or next which ever is best for everybody else.:dsm:

So I live in Watertown which is like a hour north of Syracuse. Up here there are no car clubs what so ever. I just want to maybe hang out with fellow DSM Lovers so if anybody has any ideas were we can meet PM or reply on this forum.

oh dang I was just down there like a few weeks a go for a marriage retreat that is like a 3 hour drive if you drive fast enough.

nevermind I am good to go I don't know what was wrong with my car yesterday but it it running fine today.
