I was the original 14b that was ported along with a stock motor and trans. All of which had like 154,000 miles on them. Also had evo fmic, 550s, afc neo, 2g mas, 3" turboback, ported evo3 o2, ported 2g manifold, act 2100 and flywheel. I'm sure there was more but i forget.

Talk about bringing a thread back from the dead.... lol. Long story short, the best I could muster was a 13.1@107 on 93 octane thanks to some shitty tires and trans was going out. Trans ended up blowing a couple weeks later, and I was forced to sell the car =(

Hey man , good numbers! :thumb: Was this on race gas or 93? If it was 93, You might wanna think about richening it up a little except from 3500-4500 and lean that section out like tqmx1 said. It's not dangerously lean everywhere else, but I would aim more for 11.0:1 just to be safe.

Yea he came and picked it up last monday:(He took it to GLD the next night and ran a 13.04 @ 108.5. He couldn't get it to hook up off the line either lol. Oh well, I'll have another one in no time ;)But if you do wanna get some tuning in on the dyno, lemme kno and I'll talk to my friend...

Hey man, glad to hear the car is running good! If I were you, I'd take the car somewhere to get dyno tuned. I know Adam knows his shit, but only a dyno is gonna tell you how much power your making, lol. You should take it down to my buddy's shop, I can help tune it for you if you want.

If you do keep the 14b, don't even think about touching a 272 camshaft. I wouldnt recommend a 264 either, but that depends on the rest of your setup. I am pretty much maxing out my 14b and I'm still on stock cams( 276 whp, 299 wtq at 22 psi spike, and 19 psi hold). Most aftermarket cams are...

I'm running an afc neo right now. I tuned it at my buddy's shop on their dyno with a wideband. My AEM wideband will be here tuesday. I had a logger but my palm pilot broke, so I have a new one coming this week also.I am shifting out of 1st and second at about 6800 and shift into 4th around 6400.

Does the car run fine otherwise? Try a leakdown test to try and find out where you are losing compression. Maybe all you need is some headwork. While your in there, just throw some goodies in ;)

Ah thanks for the goodwill link, I have been looking for that!The majority of the people on that 1/4 mile time list, dont have the same mods list as when they ran that time with the 14b, so it's hard to compare setups.

I am pretty much maxing out my 14b at this point ( 276 whp and 299 tq at 22 psi) and am looking to upgrade the cams before I swap turbos. I will either be going with an evo3 16g or tdo5h 20g, I haven't really decided yet. My ultimate goal is a 12 flat/high 11's. It all depends on what I can...
