I've been at this for a full day and still at a loss. When I bought my car the stock oil pressure gauge worked. It hasn't for a while now. So far I have replaced the sending unit, swapped the oil light/gauge wires, taken apart the gauge itself and have not found what the issue is. Here is what I...
youtube documentaries. war, true crime, experimental aircraft, historical events etc..... good to fill long hours I'd go insane listening to music. I already listen to music doing everything else during the day so I eventually got tired of it while working on car
I got to tearing out my interior to clean the carpet/fix the blower motor. I’ve always wondered what all the plugs under the dash are for. I’ve pulled and reinstalled DSM dashes at least 5 times at this point but never found out what they were for. Can’t find much info. Maybe they manufacture...
I know what you mean about the MBC. Do a pull, get out, turn a quarter turn, repeat a million times lol. And of course the temptation is always there to just crank the damn thing all the way up LOL . 12psi should be safe. Let us know how it goes! Should be fairly quick yet reliable.
I believe it’s 7psi.You could go the spring route or just get a simple manual boost controllerBefore I blew my stock T25 I was running 12-14psi I think the highest I ever saw was 17 but it runs out of steam and drops off up top. If you’re planning on upping the boost I would recommend...
My NRG quick release still has zero play even after 2 years of being taken on and off every time I park the caras a side note removing the wheel and taking it in with you is a theft deterrent
You have to buy the correct splined adaptor. From there you can bolt the wheel directly on or add spacers or a quick release. Any wheel will work as long as the bolt pattern matches the adaptor.
I replaced my stock wheel with a quick release setup, if you go that route make sure you can pull on it with your full strength. Not all wheels are equal and a lot of ebay ones bend/come apart with enough force. Plenty of videos of people ripping them apart on youtube. This may result in death...
:hmm: Thinking about using some really fat webbing and looping it around the whole front K-member (subframe) on the passenger side behind the trans, then running it under the trans and all the way up through to the front, this would avoid pulling on the front crossmember. If anything the webbing...
Anyone know where some good spots are on the front and rear of the 2g to which a recovery rope could be safely attached without worrying about bending frame members? I drive my car in heavy snow in the mountains, and have had to dive off into the ditch in a few feet of snow a couple times to let...
80' lbs sounds like a happy medium. I've heard of people running 75 on ARP's and the recommendation on the stock bolts is 57'lbs, back off to zero, torque to 15'lbs, then 2 90 degree turns each bolt in sequence. I'd imagine this ends up being less than 80. Anyway, I'd rather have the failure...
Gotta love old school mechanics. they just don't give a damn ROFL sometimes they get tired of us dumb kids but they're great people. Hard workers maybe they work too hard for their own good. most of them that I have known wound up with some sort of crippling condition by their mid 60s
