As the title suggests, my engine (420a) would try to start but not succeed (at first it started twice, but died both times immediately). I've checked the fuses, spark plugs, wires, replaced the fuel pump and filter, checked the starter, replaced the ignition coil, and verified that there is in...
Thank you, that helps quite a bit. I figured that over the years someone would have made a better unit to eliminate the need for retrofitting, but apparently not. I'll probably get the H1 Stage III setup myself since I have a 99GS that I'm working on.Thanks for taking the time to break it...
You decided that was the best thing you could add to the conversation? No alternative, nothing on what's different now from three years ago when this topic started, nothing about why you think it's cheap and junky, just 'enjoy purchasing cheap plastic junk'?I'd be more apt to listen to you...

I'm pretty sure the vin will tell you if it should have had turbo at one point, but you won't know if it actually still has it until you look under the hood. Visual inspections are premium.
Orange seems like a stronger color for a sports car, and green seems too child-like in my opinion. But, then again, it's all on what you want and you prefer.

Awesome, thanks for the tip I'll check the local store here and see if I can find the same stuff. I found a donor car for internal panels at a salvage yard not far from my house, so I'm thinking of taking the time to pull the interior out and replace the carpet (OC auto carpets has a 50%...
