I should also add that after installing the bigger 3inch housing
and bigger .82 ar the EGTs have dropped. So that tells you
that with a stroker the 2.5" housing and .7 ar
is restrictive. The bolt on housing worked great but
becomes restrictive at this power level.
Just finished the new setup.

Should make for a nice sleeper. It took a bit to get everything to fit the way I wanted but its done, maybe I can get into 12s now :sneaky:
I have been running the dsm3586 for 3 years and it kicks ass, 20 psi at 3950rpm in 3rd gear. Had it up to 45psi and pulls very strong with the 2.3L. Car trapped 135mph with 3280lb(pump gas) and a soft launch at around 35psi. BUT I went through 2 built trannies because of the torque. I would not...
Your timing is OK for now make sure you are running good gas at least 92oct if you can or higher. Try leaning it out a bit and see if the knock goes away. Go in small steps, try 11.2 from 11.0 afr. If that does not help try different gas. Also when doing a log try to do 3rd gear and take it from...
The hight of the tire does not change with the wider rim. Its the aspect ration (45 in your case) that will change the hight. Your 235/40/18 will fit ( I have the same size), they call for 8" rim min.

I went through 3 trannys, the last 2 were stage 3-4 from TRE. I have noticed that since the 2.3L went in and 42psi the tranny did not like that much. I broke 4th gear while doing a log at 35psi or so. Just last fall I had the car tuned almost perfect and while doing a log at over 40psi the car...
