1991 Talon AWD
Has be on non-operational registration for a number of years.
Just acquired the car and I'm selling it as is. Starts and drives.
Ive noticed some vacuum leaks and I had to rewire the injector resistor pack since the rats chewed through the harness. Not sure where else they couldve...
Hello, I have an ACT 2600 pressure plate with a 6 puck sprung disc. Also have a Xact Streetlite Flywheel. These are all for an AWD Six bolt.
Ran for 2,000 miles, two track days. Replacing because I
wanted to try out a new setup that didn't give me a body builders left leg.
Pressure plate and...
I have been running a thermal for about 7 years, sounded amazing for 4 years, and it still sounds great, but I feel it has lost some of its throatyness? The muffler is rattling about six months ago, perhaps I've been playing with the antilag too much. Anyway, I pulled it off and tried to shake...
When you put yours in, did you just get the other wiring tucked somewhere.
I'm sorry, just trying to prepare everything I might need.
Did you run your own cable, or did you use the stock alternator?
Did you go straight to battery with an inline fuse? or did you go to fuse block and used the...
I've searched for this, but haven't had any luck finding it.
Anyone who has done a relocation for their alternator, is one of these one wire alternators ok? Someone else had recommended it, they said it all worked fine, but all the post I see on tuners use the stock pigtails, or somehow re-wire...
I agree, I would definitely recommend looking into the holset side of things, if you wanna keep your stock manifold you can just run a compatible housing, but I would recommend an HX35 with a t3 twinscroll housing.
The proper holset will spool similar to a 16g and make as much power as a 20g.
Do you know how to inspect a clutch? If you could get your hands on some pictures it would be great, I mean he is your friend and I'm sure he's not trying to shaft you, so if its a 2600 and less than 500 miles, and its in great condition get it, even if its a 2100 it doesnt matter, since youre...
New or used? How does he drive the car? If used, how many miles? How much power was getting put through it?
Post some pics. If its in great condition 1000 miles, I would say yes.But then again, is your car built?
It wouldn't hurt, well except for the sweet left thigh and calf you'll have.
If...
So you can actually take the bracket which holds all the solenoids, unbolt it, remove all the solenoids except the fuel pressure regulator one, unless you have an afpr, you can run without a solenoid(don't quote me on this, or the color of the line, but i do believe its the one with the light...
Seems daunting at first, but the only thing that can be done is to pull out the wiring diagram and start checking for voltage.
Re-check your fuses, especially the 80 amp alternator one.
Check to see if youre getting power to the ignition switch, would probably the first step.
If you're doing away with the egr and charcoal canister, just unplug your emission solenoids from the wiring harness, and get rid of all that extra "vacuum leak potential"
The solenoids are the ones on the firewall, drivers side. Then you can remove all the hoses going to them.
One of the...
