  1. 97 gst sypder or 97 gsx

Go for it man looks to be well taken care of!
  2. Panda Painting

I agree that it should be taken off and redone. But just go with flat black. You have too much going on here it doesn't look good even if it was done with the straitest lines possible, it still look bad.....
  3. Wont go in gear!!!

You talk to Tim yet?So to clarify goes in just fine with car off but not when running? Are your sure flywheel is not warped? A long shot but mine had some funky issues when it was warped. Wouldn't go into gear very easy and grind and slip.
  4. my holset hx35 build

Looks like a pretty solid set up, just wondering why you went with a lower compression piston for your set up. I may be completely wrong with my theory but I would think that you would want a higher compression piston to compensate for the lack of rpms you will safely be able tohit. I went with...

What are your plans with the motor as far as the rebuild?Make sure you clean it out supper well, don't want a chunk of old bearing ruining your new ones! Also what bearings you going to use, I have had great luck with ACL race bearings....Good luck!
  9. 2g Black cloth seats?

I did some investigating and I found they were dyed. They look amazing and stock, and did not show any signs of being dyed, unitll I took out the rear seats and saw some grey that had black sprayed on them. :oAnyways so they did not come stock, but They do look like it. I will be doing this...
  10. Car only runs right at 80% throttle

scanner wont read ecu.... I cahnged ecu and same thing happened....Any Ideas
  11. Car only runs right at 80% throttle

I'm going to be checking everything I can think of when I get there. Any other ideas? What doesn't make sense is that it got better after I blew a hole in my coupler. So a big boost leak helped the drivability issues, but of course made it slow lolOk so I have been thinking. I know it is...
  12. Car only runs right at 80% throttle

I had a 3inch hole in coupler and ran better than this. I know there is something more than a boost leak. This not even drivable.I will be doing this when I get home this weekend. I just want to get a few ideas as tow hat to look for before I get to there because I do not have much time...
  13. Car only runs right at 80% throttle

So we got my car running a few weeks ago. We got the shell and it was pretty hacked up to say the least. WE fixed everything we saw and built this2.3 stroker 7bolt Block • Forged steel crank • Scat rods • Ross 9.0:1 racing pistons • Acl race bearings • ARP Hardware Head • Evo 9...

  15. Dsms 6-10 years down road

I agree these cars will be worth something in the future. I am already saving to find A low mile clean GSX and sore It. This will be my graduation present to myslef after college. I am going to get a clean 99 gsx with black leather. If years down the line it is not worth much it will still be...
