Posted because I didn't see a post specific to my issue. My shifter is a little loose but I have all new shifter bushings coming next week to hopefully help the issue, Basically, when I'm turning corners and normally downshifting to 2nd gear it grinds, unless I slow down enough and it smoothly...
I'm taking it apart now. I cant see that being that it's behind the sleeve, but I'll report back. Only think I noticed different was that the strut was in the fork more in the side thats lower. The other side Isn't that far down.(Part that has the bolt securing the fork to the strut)...I'll try...
Just put my new struts in and one side is really low and rubbing on the littlest bumps. This is directly after! Could they be blown already??? I'm about to take the wheel off and check it out. I can deal with the rubbing.

Resolved:okay and turns out the problem was the redneck I bought it from had air fuel ratio gauge. The wire was going into the o2 sensor down By the downpipe. disconnected that and my idol is perfect at 900. Turn on my headlights and everything is fine. Just a thought in case you run into...
