DSM Background
I have owned 2 DSMs, a 1996 Eclipse GSX and a 1997 Eclipse GST. I first got into DSMs when I bought my first, the 1996 GSX. After discovering structural rust issues, I decided that it wasn't worth trying to restore. So, I came across my current 97 GST. It already had tons of great performance upgrades, but the main crank bearings were toast. So I swapped the motor from my 96 GSX into the 97. I am still working out the issues in the swap, and hope to get the 97 eclipse on the road soon! My future plans are to take the 97 to the track.
