Start with Link..... learn it. You can adjust your global/dead time settings to "Solve" the fuel pump over run. Make sure to rewire it as a "free" mod. AFPR not needed.
No bs. -4 reduced to.066 feed -12 return. The head means almost nothing compression wise... I chose it for the difference in volumetric efficiency. Much more responsive off/building boost
Ive got a 6bolt bottom, 2g head, 272s, hx 35 7blade and love it. Zero port work feels like a b16g response wise but after 5k its a whole diffrent beast. Thats the bolt on housing btw... You will have no regrets with the 2g head.... Dont port it !!!
Proper oil feed and drain helped massively as...
so after buying a brand new oil pump, at 300 dollars..... the bearings spins from the reliable machine shops work..... you would advise your customer to buy another oil pump?
Not for most. To see 400 whp on a b16e3 you need all the supporting mods and its easier to get there running corn(modified fuel system), You cant just bolt on a turbo and make 400 whp if your still deciding on what FMIC to buy.And who said your intake dosnt matter? Build a cold air box in...
I've had the same 4 layer copper SBR gasket for 12 years and 15- 20 installs. Never checked,cleaned,ect.... Just slap it on and it still seals like day 1.
bolt the head right to the table as long as the deck is semi flat then end mill them. You may also be able to turn the cam alone in a lathe as long as you can grab it right/true. Ive never had the belt hang off.... but right to the edge.... maybe .01 over ??? I just ran them like that.
Age has very little to do with it. The issue is that the new bigger pump over powers the preset, non-adjustable regulator..... Increasing the volume of fuel the injector passes mechanicly.
Pull your spark plug, push a non fray rope into the cylinder and coil it to take up the space, bring the piston up to press the valve.. Now pull the spring. the valve shouldn't drop more than a hair as long as the coil takes up all the room.
The guides were never removed, otherwise you are correct.. the media would have just fallen out. the seats will have 3 cuts on them that I know of if I take the guides out now, 2 if we just machine the guide shorter. I agree on the whole shortening and heat displacement.... but the length inside...
I have a 2 g head with about XXXX worth of port and valve work alone. everything is freshly machined and ready to go together right now. the head was sandblasted and cleaned with glass media before any machine work was done. after cleaning and machining we found media between the valve guide and...
