My 2G 4g64 turbo conversion is throwing a P1105 CEL. It looks like the 97 GSX ECU I swapped into my 98 Spyder GS needs a Fuel Pressure Solenoid. What have all you other 4g64 turbo builders done with ECU pin 3 requiring a fuel pressure solenoid? Thanks.
Its getting too cold to work in the garage and I'm heading indoors. I'm going to play with my 3D scanner and see if I can replicate some needed/rare plastic parts. Shoot me your ideas on what to scan and I'll see what kind of success I have. Here are my ideas:
- Screw cover for the door panel...
Hey August578, one last question, where did you connect the bypass valve vacuum line to? We don't have a dedicated port on the 4g64 intake. Did you tee off the FPR or the solenoid valve? I have a spare 'P' port from the 4g63t throttle body I swapped in - but I read that it might not work.
Thanks Derish. My 4g64 intake doesn't have as many ports as the turbo intake. I was going to put a Tee on the Solenoid Valve line or the FPR. However, I thought, if I have a spare 'P' on the throttle body, it might work.
I am almost done my 4g64 turbo conversion. That last thing I need to do (other than the downpipe to the exhaust) is connect the bypass valve host to the intake. I used the 4g63t throttle body. Can I connect the hose to the 'P' port? It's currently unused and capped. If not there, do I need...
In case this helps anyone, this is what I did. It seems to work. Wire in a wastegate solenoid and run the red-yellow wire on pin 1 to pin 11 on the ECU. Then tap the red wire on the MAF for the red wire on pin 2 of the wastegate solenoid. I confirmed the wiring using the circuit diagram and on...
Just in case you wanted to get rid of that CEL, this is what I did. It seems to work. Wire in a wastegate solenoid and run the red-yellow wire on pin 1 to pin 11 on the ECU. Then tap the red wire on the MAF for the red wire on pin 2 of the wastegate solenoid. I confirmed the wiring using the...
