Looks like a 100% ebay purchased parts build. Hell you can even see in the photos how the "rev9" manifold bolt holes aren't centered over the port. I've had 2 of these manifolds in my shop and they were both drilled wrong and had an offset partially blocking exhaust ports because of it...

Just pulled mine to do an inspection. I have a black cover [gvr4 oem]. It ate the ring. Nbd. Just run it. It will clearance itself. Haha. No issues here. I'm just confirming, yes a fluidampr will eat the extended ring on your timing cover if you don't trim it off.

My 70mm S90 whistles a little, but only at about 5% throttle. It's clearly not a boost leak. I suspect it's just the design of the inlet for the FIAV and IAC. Since i'm running an external IACS, this is all blocked off. I'm certain that the turbulence just before the throttle plate is causing...
