That's one of my friends I was speaking of. He is the one that cut the flange off and welded the dsm one on. I saw the process. It came out pretty good and still works fine with no cracking to this day.
We cut the flange off the evo x mani and weld a dsm one on there. We also build custom twin scroll devided manifolds to bolt an evo 8-9 turbo onto a dsm w/o putting it into the radiator.
