Hey guys i'm trying to do my oil cooler in -an and i was wondering a few questions. Is the banjo fitting on the 90 style oil filter housing considered a 14mm banjo? I found this site that sells the banjo fitting with a -6an side on it and was wondering if it was the right size ( 14mm Banjo AN...
Its working fine now on just spring pressure but I just wanted to get a boost controller and I read the hallman wasn't designed for external gates. I thought external gates need bleed type controllers.
What is the best way to control boost on an external gate like a tial? I tried a hallman controller that was ball and spring and it didn't work that well. I'm using spring combinations now but its a pain to change boost. any help?
I don't really follow? I thought it ment they went through all the cheap manifolds on ebay, found out which one worked the best, rewelded and braced, and then sold it to all us at a pretty cheap price. From the sounds of it the SSAC, DNP, and Punishment budget are all the same manifold. Only...
One more question while we have all the manifold gurus here. I've noticed on the stock exhaust there is a clamp that goes around the downpipe and bolts to the block. That clamp is too small for aftermarket downpipes but if someone was to make one that worked in the same fashion for larger...
Yeah I guess I should've ran a search before askinghttp://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/turbo-system-tech/280565-punishment-racing-budget-big-16g.htmlA few posts down the page they explain what their budget lineup is. I still don't feel bad about buying one because they seem to have done alot...
I hope this isn't off topic but while you guys are giving opinions on tubular manifolds what do you guys think of the budget manifold from punishment racing? I bought a o2 housing for the tial 38mm with recirculation and was really impressed so i figured I'd give their exhaust manifold a try. It...
How about the GM mafs with Dsmlink? I heard originally they were a pain to use because they use different scales from mitsu mafs and no one had the compensation table perfected. However recently i've heard of alot of people using them with dsmlink. Do most people use them as blow through mafs...
So you get all the driveablility of the Maf at lower airflow and then its switches to the Map at higher levels. I've been hearing lots of good stuff about Dsmlink lately so I might have to give in and get it. Thanks for the input
Cool. I guess i'll just watch the hertz count and when it flatlines thats it. I was looking into the evo maf also because I heard some guys epoxied the honeycombs in them and hit 585whp.
