  1. California smog test & CEL

They might tested but will never pass... it has happened to me. I cleared the c.e.l. and that was all.
  2. Clunking in Driver back tire

I had the same problem, cluck and sometimes a squeak. It turn out to be my rear brake pads were gone. After I replaced the rear pads the noises went away.Check your brakes.
  3. 16g wategate issue

I say check the wastegate actuator before anything since It's the easiest. I had the same problem. I just supplied air to the wastegate actuator using a bicycle air pump and air leaked from top of the actuator. I replace it with a used one ($20) and was back to stock 7 psi at wide open throttle.

  10. 1g Creeping stock... then maintenance...

I checked the vacuum lines and they all seemed to be going to the right place. Someone just told me it could be the cat or wastegate getting stuck. Apperantly I might not have back pressure. Maybe the cat collapsed internally. I'll probably check the wastegate lever and actuator. I have...

Hey guys I just purchase a 91 tsi. It only has an after market air filter and a muffler. With the rest of the car stock I am boost creeping 20+. Hitting fuel cut. I wanted to change all the fluids and perfom major maintenance but I want to fix the creeping problem. I don't want to hurt the...
  12. Mitsubishi auto trans/Reverse went out completely. (NOT slipping)

Hey I'm new to dsmtuner. With the oil pan off you should check the resistance of every solenoid (it should have a low resistance value). It could be as simple as a solenoid. If money is not an issue then overhaul it. Otherwise look for the cheapest thing, like a solenoid. Is the transmission...
