i recently replaced the ECU in my 95 gs (5spd trans) with one from an automatic. now my CEL is on and i have a DTC for no signal from TCM. anybody know how to bypass this code? I figured with the right wiring diagram i could jump power to signal wire from the "TCM" and trick the ECU.
i found this hanging next to the bell housing by the connector. looks like 2 air line ports, a vacuum port and an electrical connector. i have no idea what it is.
so im finishing up some repairs to the body kit and getting ready to start sanding. not sure what color i want to paint it yet, i figured you guys could help me decide.Whats the best looking color on a 2G??currently copper and purlpe (bleh), with grey interior.
i think im going to find a set of stock hinges. after some research i cant find anybody that likes their lambo doors. it seems that after a month they are just a pain in the ass.so how do you get to the hinges, does the fender have to come off? looks like they are pretty far in there.
i had the same problem with a faulty alarm system, until it wouldnt start at all. luckily it happened in front of an audio store and the guys new immediatley what to unhook.
ive seen a similar problem in big diesel trucks, when they warm up it opens up a hairline crack in the turbo and doesnt allow it to produce any boost. give your turbo a good visual check. and boost leak test!
i would also chase the vehicle speed sensor wiring. its working between vss and speedo but not vss and odo, the harness branches off somewhere and that could be your trouble area. i dont have schematics in front of me so i cant be more precise but a good visual inspection goes a long way.
could be a worn pulley ticking. one easy way to check is to spray the pulleys with wd40 or even soapy water while the engine is running. if the sound changes or goes away then your in the right place.
